Summer Camp


There has been an overwhelming amount of interest in Summer Camp already this spring.
Therefore, a deposit of 50% of the session fee is required to reserve a spot.  The balance is due 3 weeks before the start date.

If for any reason you become unable to attend, you will receive a refund if your spot can be filled from the waiting list.

The purpose of our camp is to introduce you to the world of horses or to further your knowledge of the care that goes into horse ownership.
And, of course, to HAVE FUN!
Parents are permitted and encouraged to observe and learn with their children.

Topics that will be covered include proper grooming, feeding, daily barn care, show preparation and basic riding skills.  There will be tips from various horse professionsals, including our farrier and vet.  We will also have demonstrations by advanced riders in the areas of Dressage, Hunters, Combined Training, Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Reining and Polo.  There will also be introductions to 4-H and Pony Club.

Sessions will be tailored to the age and experience of the participants.  Each session will go from Monday through Friday from approximately 9am - 2pm.

The first session that has openings is June 23-27.  This will be a Beginner's Camp for those that have little or no riding experience.  All ages of riders are welcome.  The cost for this session is $250.  There will be several beginner sessions available.

There will also be an Intermediate Camp July 21-25 for riders that have some riding experience.  The cost for this sessions is also $250.

There will be a Beginner Eventer Camp July 7-11 for riders that are beginning to jump and are interested in learning about eventing.  Each day will include a dressage and a jumping lesson, including both stadium and cross country courses.  The focus will be preparing the riders for their first Combined Test and/or Mini Trial.  The cost for this session is $300.

Call or check back often for available dates throughout the summer.  Sessions can be tailored for groups of 4 or more.
